1. the headband on kakashi has the leaf village sign and drawn either his right eye covered or uncovered.

the icon on etho’s headband varies, but usually minecraft grass block or creeper face, and his right eye is always uncovered (very VERY seldom is covered in fanarts)

2. the tags. if you see a kakashi/etho post, check if the tags are either #naruto / #kakashi / tags naruto related (kakashi post) or #hermitcraft / #ethoslab / tags hermitcraft related (etho post)

3. (obviously) the post itself!!! if theres a big headbang of “kakashi” or “etho” as a title/text/text in art then you know. if theres naruto-related things around, its kakashi. if theres hermits around, its etho.
