The young man reminded him so much of what he once was - brave, tenacious, prepared to fight to the very last breath. But death. Death was unavoidable in this line of work.

2: What made you choose your muse?

Honestly, I’ve been lowkey wanting to make a Sirius daughter oc for aaaages but always put the idea off. Plus what with Amelia (my other hp oc) being James and Lily’s daughter and of course Sirius’ goddaughter, I felt what I had with Amelia was as close as I could get to a Sirius daughter. But then I was taking my dog for a walk and the song “Black Sheep” came on and I was just overwhelmed with this image of Sophia Bush as Sirius’ daughter. It was a 20 minute walk, that song was one of the first that came up but I ended up putting it on repeat because I just could not get that image out of my head. I made a post about it when I came home, honestly not expecting anyone to be interested, but people were and that was all the kick I needed to go ahead with the muse XD

16: [OC] What gave you the inspiration for your muse?

I sorta already explained in the above answer but yeah, listening to “Black Sheep” gave me inspiration. I wouldn’t exactly say the song itself is what Diana’s bio is based off but just more of Diana being a ‘Black’ and being a ‘Black sheep’ of the Black family just like her father was/is. I guess it must’ve just triggered some old ideas I originally had when the idea of a Sirius daughter first came to mind but I put it to the side XD

20: [OC] How did you choose their name?

Actually, it was very easy. One of the things that really stuck out at me when this idea came during my walk was that I wanted to make my version of Sirius’ kid not named after a star or constellation. It’s just my personal perception of Sirius that it would seem ooc for him to carry on those ‘family traditions’ when his family was never really much of a family to him to begin with. The Potters were more of a family to Sirius than his own mother ever was. So yeah, for me it was always this idea of Sirius refusing to carry on those family traditions and basically naming his kid something other than a star or constellation as a major “fuck you!” to his family.
