after pushing through some homesickness, the kids finally seem to be enjoying the vacation.
christopher moving in was actually one of the best things to happen in poppy’s life. christopher (creative, bookworm, neat) turned out to be an amazing roommate -- he cleaned up after himself (and poppy, lbr) and he was always there for her when she needed him most. he was more than happy to discuss art with her, even though he preferred literature, too.
after she broke up with her girlfriend, christopher’s comfort turned into something more. and, unsurprisingly, that something more made poppy realize that christopher was really the soulmate she’d always been looking for. as their careers developed, they found themselves propelled on a path into real adulthood, starting with marriage, kids, and a house of their own.

(because i didn’t have the foresight to start a simblr back when i first created poppy, back in early may, we’re actually pretty close to changing the focus to generation 2 of the harrison-channing legacy. but you still should meet the sim that started it all.)
poppy grew up in the big city, but moved out to live in her grandma’s old house after she passed away. poppy took a little time to adjust to the quiet life of newcrest, and living in the home she remembers visiting as a little girl was a little jarring, but she ended up loving it. after deciding keeping up the bills was a bit too difficult for just her own paycheck to handle, she rented out the basement bedroom to a tenant, an aspiring novelist by the name of christopher channing.
