It had been another exhausting argument with him, to be honest Estelle wasn’t sure how her sister EVER managed to be a parent, it was so trying. The again before Luna’s passing she was sure the boy had been less unruly, and of course much less angry. Estelle sighed wandering to the kitchen opening her fridge, now where was that- oh. 

The cobalt haired woman stopped her rifle through the fridge and closed it...a painting of the night sky hanging above her fridge, she smiled a bit, right...that. She closed the fridge.

“Papa did you paint this picture over my bed, it’s always been there and MAMA says it’s a painting. So did you paint it?” the small faunus child’s ears twitched, it had taken her the better part of the morning to get that painting down and she now held it proudly out to her father who almost seemed to laugh.

“Of course I did starlight.”

The little girl examined the painting running a small hand over it, papa painted lots of pretty things but this one felt different. In fact it felt prettier she wondered why he hadn’t sold it she was sure the weird rich people in the city would love it.

“So why is it in my room papa, it’s so pretty, I bet we could make lots of money with this and fix the roof!” the little girl grinned, she liked the painting, but, she liked having a not leaky roof WAY better. Her father smiled and laughed shaking his head no, causing the young Estelle to cock her head.

“No I couldn’t possibly sell that...it’s your painting...I made it for you and it would be wasted in the hands of anyone else. They won’t know what it truly means.”

The girl looked at the painting again now a bit frustrated, know what it means? She didn’t even know what it meant it was just pretty!

“What it means? What do you mean it’s of the sky, a pretty picture of the night sky papa!” the older faunus ruffled the hair between her ears as she puffed out her cheeks in confusion opting to explain.

“I painted that the night you were born, right after I first saw you, as soon as you and your mother were asleep. I wasn’t looking at the sky when I painted that Estelle, I was looking at you. My beautiful wife asleep and in her arms our precious first daughter, Estelle. We named you that. because in your eyes I saw it right away and when I pointed it out your mother agreed, they told us everything. Our little girl, was going to be every star in the sky some day, and shine twice as bright, and look at you now we were right.”

“Woah...every star in the sky...I, papa I don’t think I can do that, there’s so MANY of them! How do I-”

“You already have, never change Estelle, and you’ll always be our starlight, brighter than every star in the sky.”

🛌- Does your muse prefer to sleep under many layers of blankets or only under a few?

L likes freedom she wants to be able to move she might use a blanket or two if it’s particularly cold however, on the whole she prefers to simply wrap herself in her wings. It’s warm enough and easier for a quick escape.

🎀- Does your muse like to accessorize? What are their favorite pieces of accessories?

When it comes to accessories and looks in general L is your girl she likes to change her look frequently however, keeping a walk in closet on the move isn’t exactly easy. Instead she tends to change her make up and frequently keep a small array of different jewelry and accessories on her. Some of her favorites are fake gauges that look like wings along with a silver locket with very fine engravings. It’s empty however she likes it because deep down she hopes one day she’ll have someone or something worth putting in it. Be it a type of family or otherwise.

🎟- Do they like “so bad it’s good” movies?

She likes to complain about them and especially to make fun of the make up, but, she can only stomach so much at once.

🔖- Is your muse a daydreamer? What do they tend to think about? Have they ever caught themselves while lost in thought?

L’s mind does tend to wander frequently she’s extremely emotional and her daydreams are vivid. Rarely they’re sad or reflective on her past but frequently due to the constant positive mind set she pushes on herself they wind up being more whimsical. Fantasies about that cute person her age she saw walking across the way or about some dress she could never afford in the window are much more common. L rarely catches herself however frequently pulled from thought by others leading to fumbling and embarrassment.

🎐- Does your muse like to collect/hoard anything?

Cosmetics and accessories it’s the only way to keep her look fresh while constantly moving having no place to call her own. She needs to feel like she’s keeping updated and staying beautiful to avoid her mind from spiraling in on it’s own darkness, so she has quite a few on her as she travels.

🛌- Does your muse prefer to sleep under many layers of blankets or only under a few?

The cold never bothered her anyway? Haha, no but Estelle is used to the cold being from Atlas and due to the nature of herself and her semblance. If sleeping with company though she has no problem adapting to their preference rather than insisting on her own.

🎀- Does your muse like to accessorize? What are their favorite pieces of accessories?

Estelle isn’t too big on accessories finding they get in the way she primarily wears only a few consistently, and they typically have sentimental value. For example the silver star-band hairpin she clips to the base of her ponytail was a gift from her sister when they first came to Vale.

🎟- Do they like “so bad it’s good” movies?

Oh yes, she likes terrible jokes in general honestly so those sorts of films are right up her alley. She likes to make cringe worthy dad jokes about them or just fake reminisce about ‘ah I remember when this was good’ knowing full well it never was.

🕹- What does your muse do to occupy themselves when bored?

Estelle is a bit of an artist, she rarely gets free time these days but, whens he does she might scribble and idea for a painting on a pad of paper. If she’s REALLY fortunate with time on her hands she might even paint one, her father taught her to paint and it helps her feel close to him even having lost him years ago. She also enjoys the occasional stiff drink or bar gossip, but, within reason and usually because it’s easier than finding time to draw.
