the hbic shirt that was given to veronica by cheryl was honestly something she cherished.   at the time, she wasn’t aware what the gift had meant, but after, it made the raven haired river vixen see cheryl blossom in a totally different light.   instead of saving the shirt for herself, ronnie has the hbic shirt tucked safely away in her dresser, and is waiting for the moment cheryl is ready to return to her throne.

DOS.

all she veronica lodge wants to do is care for someone she used to mirror.   she was the mean girl before moving, but it was the move and wanting to start over that helped her transform into something more kind.   she can’t help but wonder if maybe cheryl wants to do the same, but is stuck in the mold she and her family has made for themselves.   i think this is one of the reasons veronica is so quick to give cheryl a helping hand, because she knows what it’s like to be in that position of power, and having to do all that cheryl has done in order to keep it.   i think the importance of this headcanon  –  –  being that veronica will always put out a helping hand, despite how angry or upset she is at the fiery blossom.
