Sick of The Silence

Husher’s story is not just an edgy power trip of constant torture and death. A lot of gore and blood isn't just for shock value, and even thinking it’s cool isn’t a bad thing. Sometimes it fucking adds to the depth of a story. When I have violence and gore in my stories it has a meaning, even if to some people it’s “unnecessarily edgy” or “extreme” or whatever else.

Obviously the cleanest kept iterator is going to drench himself in blood the soonest chance he can get. Of course the iterator shunned coldly by his citizens is going to devour them even though he can't truly consume them. Of course all those thousands of years of bloodshed would stain even the insides of his puppet, so that even if he is cleaned he is still marked. Old blood still seeps from his very seams

It’s more than just fucking shock value, it means sth very important to his story and it’s something he can’t ever come back from fully. Technically he got what he wanted, technically he is roaming free and not even the world can punish him now, but his own body suffers the ramifications now. In order to free himself he had to break his mind and his body.

There is so much violence that comes with breaking chains, with finally tearing yourself free from your prison. There's a reason so many stories about escape include hands being cut on rocks, on dull chains, on the ground that they now roam free on. When you turn your entire life into violence, of course it's going to absorb into every action you make
