"Quinn. Quinn.” Puck ushered, urgency loud in his tone just as his troubling thoughts were loud in his head.

"Hmm?" Quinn breathed, eyes only stayed open for a second before closing again. "It’s barely nine. Save it, Puckerman."

"No. Wake up." He insisted. "It’s serious."

Sighing in defeat, she fluttered her weary eyes open, trying to muster any possible concentration instead of giving in to the fatigue resting deep beneath her bones. “What?”

"Are you sure about this?" He begins, and she sensed his unease immediately. "Our life, together. Just the two of us?"

"Puck…"

"No, no." He hushed, and all she could do was stare. "Listen. I know I act like I know everything or that I just don’t give a damn, that I’m sure of it all, but I’m not. Most of the time I don’t even know what I’m doing with my life. And I’m obviously not the best guy out there. My temper’s terrible, I get too possessive and I’m still a bit of a loser.. but I love you, and I want this. And I just want to make sure you won’t regret this ‘cause I sure as hell won’t." 

Once the stammering came to a halt, he glanced down, gaze nervously searching for hers. 

She just smiled.

Leaning over, she observed him for a moment, before pressing a kiss to his lips. “I’m not regretting anything. I won’t. 

"I love you and.. I love you. I wouldn’t be here if this doesn’t feel right to me, you should know by now.”

He laughed softly, the dead weight in his chest began to dissipate. “I know.. Guess I just needed some reassurance.”

Quinn nodded, the smile still lingering on her face. “I don’t mind reassuring you.”
