Deviled Eggs. There’s no question (unless you want me to bring my whole parts system into this conversation) Refined. Unhinged. A little too much paprika. Way too many multitudes. But, here’s the catch: I don’t mean the kind your friend brought to a potluck. I mean the gourmet shit. Structured, but chaotic in flavor. A little too intense. Easily a meal disguised as a snacc. Fancy, but menacing both in execution and practice. “Why’d they put lox in it - oooooh, now I get it.” Polarizing and definitely an acquired taste. A deviled egg is literally an egg that has been overthought, overworked, overseasoned, and then presented with confidence it never asked for.
