It's crossing the street where there is no crosswalk. It's illegal because it's dangerous to just pop out into the road when drivers aren't expecting you to.

Hayley smacked at him, making him laugh.  “You’re a pervert”, she said, chuckling. 

Tom laughed some more.  “I admit, it’s a very clever shirt.”

“I got such a kick out of it, which is why I took the picture.”  She grabbed her phone and swiped through her pictures, before showing it to him. 

“You know...she’s cute”, Tom said, peering at it.  “Are you sure you didn’t get her number for me?”

“It looks like gore in a bowl”, Loki said, peering over Darcy’s shoulder.

“It is not gore, it’s vegetables!!” she cried.  “Plum tomatoes, peppers, garlic, onions, tomato sauce and chicken broth and spices, on top of white rice.  Good for something light, yet filling.  A bit like a very chunky tomato and rice soup.”

She offered a spoonful when Loki sat down. 

“Here, try some, it’s good”, she said. 

“No thank you”, he replied, eyeing the spoon warily. 

“C’mon, I promise you’ll like it”, she cajoled.

Knowing that she would never let up, he blew on the softly steaming spoon, heaped high with the mixture, and took a bite. 

Darcy watched as he chewed thoughtfully.  She nodded at the look on his face.  “Uh huh, see, I told you it was good.”

“Is there any more?”

Loki grinned wolfishly. 

“But it makes it o so much more satisfying when you finally get them off, no?” he asked. 

Darcy grumped.  “Dammit, it’s taking away the mood”, she said.  “It doesn’t pay that your clothes are so complicated when I’m horny.  Taking too long to get you naked makes me not horny anymore, just tired and annoyed.”  She flopped back onto the bed, and turned to her side, away from him. 

Loki’s clothes dissolved, and he climbed in behind her, spooning up against her. 

“Oh, Darling, don’t be cross”, he said, kissing her shoulder. 

Darcy ‘Hmph’ed’, not turning around. 

“Daaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrccccccccccccccyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy” he sing-songed, his fingertips running up and down her arm.  He nuzzled her neck behind her ear, letting his tongue lick the shell of her ear.  He smirked when he felt her shiver. 

“Not so tired and annoyed now, are you?”

“Get fucked”, she said, trying not to laugh and twisting her body just enough to fwap him.
