"Lumos" is Harry and the Potters' first full-length album in 13 years
Harry and the Potters are releasing a new album and going on a summer tour! The kickstarter campaign ends May 23, 2019. Tour dates + show tickets are at the bottom of the page.
The year was 2007. The final Harry Potter book had just been released. I was 11 years old. My mom took my sister, a friend, and me to the Buffalo and Erie County Public Library to see a “wizard rock” show. The bands playing were The Whomping Willows, Draco and the Malfoys, and for the headliner, of course, Harry and the Potters. These were enthusiastic fans who picked up their instruments and wrote music about Harry Potter.

I have to plug the Harry and the Potters NEW ALBUM kickstarter here... I said this on twitter but for me, these guys embody everything that’s great and genuine about fan artists of any kind. Also they rock hard, and if you’ve seen them live over the years you KNOW that none of their recordings do them any justice at all and it seems like this one finally will :’)
