Just because I disagree with someone’s politics does not mean I think they deserve to be cowering in fear for their lives. I’m not in charge of the karmic balance sheet, I don’t wish what happened yesterday on anyone.
But there are more people in the Capitol at any one time than just congressmen and women, such as sanitation workers, aides, interns, and other staff that help make the building run smoothly. Mike Pence’s wife and children were there. I hate the man but his wife and children are innocent. How many other congresspeople’s family’s were there or in the vicinity and were forced to fear not only for their lives but the lives of their loved ones?
So let’s not play this game, this was unacceptable, full stop.
