So there’s this mug in the cupboard, except it’s not. It’s always on the counter. It’s black and huge, mostly filled with either water or black coffee. It has a 3-D Mickey Mouse on it, Mickey looking smug and sarcastic, dude always laughs at me as I throw hatred straight at its face. 

I hate this mug. 

It’s so annoying to wash. It never gets put back. It’s unnaturally large for a mug. And I hate Mickey’s face on it. 

Don’t get me wrong, I like Mickey the mouse. But this mug just ----------.  It just happens to magically float and sit on the counter top exactly where I want to sit. It’s in my space. It never breaks (as much as I try to accidentally drop it in while doing the dishes) and it always comes back to haunt me (even though I constantly try to misplace it). 

the worst part is that I was the one who bought it and brought it home from the store.
