Nomi, you fucking disgrace!
She said yes. Cherly actually said yes to going out to dinner with him! He was ecstatic and nervous in equal measure. This was his first outting with a young woman in.. decades? He had spent so long apprenticing, and studying, and running experiments in the name of knowledge, he had forgotten nearly to live his life. but now he paid for it. Now, he was shaky and could barely hold his attention on the mirror as he looked back and forth from robe to robe, conjuring his attire for the evening. Someone knocked and entered his room and he immediately turned, ready to blast the foolish enemy with every cinder he had as he was standing in some simple slippers and his undershorts with his robe wide open.
It was a maid, for turn-down service. He hadn’t placed the Do Not Disturb sign.. She blushed and nodded in apology before quickly turning to leave and slamming the door shut practically. Sha’drelar sighed and rolled his eyes.
He looked back to his mirror, closing his robe and belting it off. He still had plenty of time and would make a decision later. He turned and stepped for the door, stepping out and locking it behind him.
He left the inn, and made his way to the tavern where the reservations were. He wanted to ensure things were done well, and that things would be worthy of their date. Once he arrived, the table, which was 2 tables pressed together, were already cordoned off with a little card that read ‘RESERVED’. He smiled finally, feeling a bit at ease.
He approached the table and the barkeep, whome he made the reservation with sighed heavily with relief.
“Finally!” The keep spouted. “I tried contacting you earlier. But I got nothing back from you, I need to know what dishes you wish made.”
The Night Elf nodded, looking over a menu and walking to the kitchen, searching for the head chef. It was an assortment of men and women, of all races.
“For tonight’s reserved meal, we would like Pandaren Peanut Chicken with vegetables, Assortments of fruits, fine-sliced with a mix of nuts. Dragon-Breath Chili, Pine-Nut bread, Darnassian Bleu wedges with crusted bread slices and spiced wheat crackers..”
As he prattled on more and more dishes and sides and drinks, the entire congregation just began to slowly lose all hope of life, it seemed, from their eyes. They prepared large banquets before, for large parties but.. for two people..?

A few hours later, the food was all prepped, within the kitchen was a slew of a mess, with the smell of many different meats, vegetables, flour, sugar, peppers, spices.. and in the middle of it, was a large Pandaren called Nomi, who was an amazing chef in his own right, but made many mistakes, only to try again and ruining many of the dishes. “I swear..” Sha’drelar spoke up, covered in flour and his hair a complete mess as he had helped with the preparations. “..You are the biggest pain in the ass I’ve ever dealt with. You gave us an extra hour of work just so you could ‘experiment’!”
“It’s all part of the process, food is art! Mistakes must be m-” Nomi was cut off.
“You idiot sandwich!” Sha’drelar grabbed two slices of bread. “I don’t have time for you to experiment! This is important!” The elf placed the bread on both sides of Nomi’s head. “What are you?!” The Elf asked sternly.
“..a.. Pandaren..” Nomi replied. Sha’drelar sighed and walked out, rubbing his eyes. He was off to clean up and finally get dressed. He needed to go pick up his date too..
