you sit scared and shivering on the cold stone floor, alone in the dim cave you're trapped in. you didn't bother trying to find a way out after the first girl got eaten...
you had been having a perfectly normal day, taking time to go for a short walk when without warning you were caught in a crushing grip, great scaled talons wrapped around your middle, the ground slipping far far away from under you, whipping wind and thunderous wingbeats the only thing you can hear. you flew for what felt like hours before a cold mountain peak broke through the clouds, your captor diving towards it, spinning dizzily until you were dropped off in a stone chamber with a dozen other women
one had almost managed to climb her way out, but a serpentine neck shot out, narrow jaws snatching the woman up and quickly scarfing her down without much struggle. you were dropped onto the floor just in time to see the last of her bulge disappear from the dragon's neck into its body, an entire woman completely hidden inside. without giving you a glance the mighty beast snagged another woman, carrying her off deeper into the cave
you're not sure how long you stayed there. you remember the other girls talking, some fighting, some crying, but you just sat quietly. every time one of them started to come up with a plan the dragon returned, slithering out of the gloom to pick another girl to carry off. one by one the girls were grabbed, some eaten outright in front of you, others dragged squirming into the depths. you stayed silent. now, it's just you. it's been quiet for some time now, and just as you're optimistic that maybe you've been forgotten, it returns
talons gripping the stone floor hard enough to splinter the granite, it emerges from the shadows, majestic and terrible as it stares down at you. you follow the trail of its neck, noticing how the dragon's belly is barely stretched from the women its eaten, although you can just barely make out a ripple or a bulge here and there, reminding you of your fate. you meekly turn your eyes down, waiting for the inevitable
the tip of its tail pushes your chin up, and you look to see your vision filled with a single, molten gold eye. it smells like a warm hearth this close to it. you shiver and tremble as it inspects you, gazing over your form, its snout poking you, its tail snaking around you to keep you trapped. the beast rears back, gazing down at you, a satisfied smile peeling its lips from its fangs
"Obedient."
it huffs loudly, a chortling noise rising from its throat. you hear dragging, scrambling, claws scraping on the ground-
and four hatchlings come tumbling out of the darkness, landing heavily in the cold antichamber. each one larger than a horse, you stared in horror at their bulging, struggling bellies, some soft and sagging while others were thrashing violently. they chirped and sputtered as they surrounded you, clambering over their mother's tail to inspect you. a warning growl made you and the babies flinch back, the tail surrounding you tightening ever so slightly
"This one stays."
it leers down at you, staring at your abdomen with an intense, predatory gaze
"I have uses for her."
