As it’s December 1st and Advent Calendar time, I thought I’d post regularly during December in honour of Christmas! So here is image seven in my DarkArt Ladies project (and a personal milestone as eight days ago I only had one image!) This photograph of the chameleon-like @jess.hilton.5099 is the darkest of the series so far and once again Jess nailed the look! Image six in my DarkArt Ladies series shows the amazing headwear and costume creations of @laura.shone.textile.artist. The lovely @alicehayward123, who’s willingness to become a human canvas made it easier to create this visual story of being metaphorically trapped behind bars - even the space next to Alice is negative. But there will be hope (just not in this picture) and Alice’s look says it all! When I got my first Hasselblad camera it changed not only my work but my life, it changed the way I was able to shoot things and what I was able to get from them today Hasselblad is posting some photos from my Space series on @hasselblad_official Instagram if you have never used a Hasselblad I couldn't recommend it more its a different experience then what you might be used to, but that's the point!
