âFairy Talesâ (w/Brendan)
As the clock struck at three-oâ-clock in the afternoon on a cloudy and humid day, about twenty children of varying ages poured out of the little schoolhouse, most of them taking young Pokemon with them.
âPoochyena! You and me are gonna be just as great as Teacher and Sylveon one day. Letâs work hard on the ranch today.â one girl said, taking the Dark-type into her arms and heading off with her mother.
âCâmon, Pichu, that was a good day today! So, eight eights is sixty-four... nine nines is eighty-one... and ten tens is a hundred! This is easy! But... I donât know what eleven elevens is just yet.â The Pichu replied with a small cry to the boy, its cheeks crackling. âNow, if only you know how to shock without hurting yourself...â
Soon, all of the children left... except for one.
A little girl seemed out of it, looking around with an Azurill clutched close in her arms. âWhere is Mother?â
Rain began to fall, as the little girl huddled under the overhang.
âAzurill... i-itâs okay. Motherâll be here soon... I hope.âÂ
She turned back to the building. âUm, Teacher? Sylveon? My parents arenât here just yet....â
As this all unfolded, Serena was walking on a path, being dragged on a leash by her Absol.
The Pokemon seemed particularly out-of-it today, thrashing on its leash and wanting to get away from the usual walking path. In fact, he was trying to dash towards...
âThe schoolhouse? Is something wrong at the school?â asked Serena, before quickly being given an answer as Absol cut the leash string in half with his scythe.
âAbsol? Absol, wait up!â shouted Serena, attempting to follow the adamant Dark-type. Absol was normally so gentle and docile, he only became aggressive when something awful was about to happen!
