Some royal mail finally arrived!

This is a response to my birthday card to Prince Harry. I was a little hesitant about sending him one in the first place because his past few replies (and ones before that, although I didn’t have any) were the same photo and I didn’t know how much more I could take. 

But I did send one and thankfully it’s a new photo! I really like this one. Harry has a nice smile and I’ve loved him with a beard. 

The one thing that irks me, and if you’ve read my recent British reply posts you’ve probably seen this coming, is that stupid white border. I hate it. I don’t know why it just isn’t very visually appealing to me.

On a personal note, another tidbit of information is that this came to my old apartment unit. I moved units in August (although I’m in the same complex). I sent this addressed to my new unit and even made a note in my card to please note the new address. It was still sent to my old unit and mailbox number. 

This tells us two things. One is that they most likely have a system that keeps track of everyone’s address. Probably a computer system that they can type your name in and have your address come up.  Secondly, they obviously don’t read very carefully. Not to bash on anyone, I know they are very busy and probably get a lot of mail. But I wrote it specifically on it’s own, not in the message in the card (it was like a PS). So they really should have seen it.

I’ve had not problems, however, when I address it to my home address instead of my apartment at uni. (George’s reply came to my home address no problem this summer). 

Overall a very nice reply. Since it is a new photo, I’m excited to see what they use for his Christmas reply (it may be the same one).
