HARRIMAR 10 15 17 19 22 34
10. Does this character have a vice? Name it.
Harrimar loves food and drink and sweets. He has, thus far, attended every royal feast held for the last six years running - in one case sending a simulacrum of himself to attend solely so as to not break the string. It's gotten to the point where the royal chefs always prepare at least one serving of candied yams - his favorite thing - for him, even if nobody else at the feast would possibly be interested in touching them. Because he will always be there.
Wizarding is a hungry job.
15. What is this character’s deepest regret?
Some of the trenches he's had to sign off on sending students and colleagues into run very deep indeed, and he does everything in his power to avoid letting them fall in. Sometimes, however, saving them isn't always feasible - and those memories keep him up at night.
17. Describe this character’s most devastating moment.
Being forced to abandon the former Archconjurer to the Black Spear line in the first Battle of Selarra, during the baronial revolts. He swore an oath then - that Selenth willing, he'd see them all dead.
The last trial concluded in a hanging twelve years ago.
The victory still feels a bit hollow.
19. What is this character’s greatest hope?
For the next generation of Elarian mages to serve their nation with all of their honor, all of their dignity, and all of their strength. Can't hope to ask much more than that.
22. What is this character’s worst nightmare?
It's less a nightmare and more a vision - one he saw twenty years ago, of Cerisal burning and blood running in the streets. It was a large part of why he invested himself deeply into fighting off the baronial revolts, and then into training the upcoming apprentices.
34. Describe a recurring dream or nightmare this character might have.
As above (22 and 17) - they haunt him still.
