spent the weekend up in Maine celebrating my friend Cali’s life. it was nice to go home. i missed Portland. i forgot how much i loved living downtown.
but not as much as i missed my hometown of Harpswell. it was nice to see some people i love and be home for a little while.
it made me miss the country a lot. i miss my job working on a lobster boat. i miss diesel trucks. i miss dirt roads and streets without signs.
i was happy to come home to my pets though
