Happy birthday to Egon Spengler (Harold Ramis) & I'll miss you😢

Happy Ghostbusters Day! The original movie released 37 years ago today. Here’s a repost of a piece I did in March 2019 as a submission for a Ghostbusters art book (which released in 2020). Devastatingly, it was rejected. I drew it entirely freehand using graphite, colored pencil and marker (and black pastel for the background). Regarding its rejection, the publisher thinks it was the use of the Real Ghostbusters cartoon characters, however, when I started the drawing, they reassured me those would be okay to use. So apparently the focus of the book shifted to just the original movie only🤷🏻‍♂️. Needless to say, I was again disappointed (and, if I’m honest, kinda heartbroken. This is still my all-time favorite movie.) I shared this on GB day 2020 and thought I might share it once again.
