Between the Sokovia Accords and the most recent election, their entire existence had taken a drastic turn. And to nobody’s surprise, Luke wasn’t much of a fan of either. No good ever came from ISOLATING people with words and documentation. Treating them as different. Dangerous.

Trish drops her eyes, brain quickly mulling over all the ways things could go terribly, horribly wrong. Sometimes it’s easy to get lost in the uptick of weirdness and unease in New York City’s growing metahuman/vigilante/criminal dark web, but when Trish thinks she’s going to get some air and breathe, nothing nationally is going particularly well either.
Her producers want Trish Talk to stay as far away from the mass of darkness ever-looming on the horizon. This is a LIFESTYLE show, Trish. No one’s coming to you for POLITICS.
Too bad all of this is a lifestyle. Hers, namely, and since it’s her name in the show’s title...

The rest of us are the grass that springs up everywhere, but the people like you... when you’re willing to take a STAND, you’re the ones giving us the courage to stand on solid ground. Knowing powerful people still stand up for the little guy.”
