The current Chieftain of Hardrada.
Dorcas holds tightly to keeping Hardrada a peaceful island, which has been under the World Government’s rule for over 700 years, despite the internal conflicts. Many people, including her sister Skadi, have had interest in uncovering Hardrada’s history during and prior to the Void Century, so the island is incredibly divided.
She is an intelligent and thoughtful leader, knowing that this role was not what she was originally born for, but tends to be incredibly stubborn. Shanks has attempted to bridge communication given his family’s history but, much like her father, she has little interest in hearing him out. Though she doesn’t agree with everything the WG does, she finds them the safer option compared to the other options and works with them. She also would have supported Cobra and Riku in dissolving the Warlord system.
She has a 16 year old son, Lerion, who has attended the last 3 Reveries with her.
Younger sister of Dorcas and member of the RHP. Skadi was originally going to become Hardrada’s Chieftain but she left in her early 20s after Shanks began to appear in the papers as a rookie.
She originally met Shanks when they were children, when the Roger Pirates docked in Hardrada. Her father, Arkyn, the Chieftain at the time, refused to allow Shanks to set foot on the island and Skadi snuck down to the docks to talk with him against her father’s wishes.
Skadi would often butt heads with her sister and parents and, after the departure of the Roger Pirates, began spending her time with a group of rebels that sided against the royal family and their connections with the WG. It was there that she met Sivert, who would go on to become Shanks’ navigator. The group often traveled from the island in search of Hardradans who had left centuries ago to fill in the gaps of their island’s history.
