An AU Idea For Our Muses: I think it would be really cool to see Arya try and teach Sansa some basic self-defense.

What I Think About The Mun: Very sweet and understanding and they seem like a generally cool person. I hope to get to know them better. 

Overall Opinion: Really great, really wonderful writer. I love how they write Arya and I look forward to writing more with them and exploring the complicated relationship between Sansa and Arya. 

            condensation allows his warm breath to appear within the cold air of the north, and he clutches his lord commander’s cloak close to his body. eyes of grey flicker to the sky, watching the old bear’s raven soar overhead, flapping its wings every once in awhile as it circles the training grounds of castle black. today is the arrival of new blood—-thieves and rapists, lowborn lawbreakers and highborn outcasts, but never some as stupid as he, willing to join the night’s watch. beside him sits his faithful companion, ghost, white as the snow melting in his dark brown hair, with piercing eyes of red, studying the gates as they begin to open, the creaking of old hinges left to fill the silence. he rests a gloved palm atop his furry companion’s head, and examines the individuals who pass through.

            four boys and three men are led in, either appearing too frightened or too uncaring for their own good. jon grits his teeth. this isn’t the life they wanted, no, but it is the life the gods dealt them, and they ought to get used to it.  “  welcome t’ castle black, gentlemen,  ”  he greets them with a curt nod. only one of the soon-to-be-brothers holds his gaze—-one of the children, the only child to seem uncaring of his predicament.  “  you’ve been on the road, so i’m guessin’ word hasn’t gotten t’ ya yet about our lord commander. jeor mormont is no longer with us, and i have been appointed as the new lord commander of the night’s watch. you may address me as lord commander snow.  ”

            as if on cue, the raven in the sky lands, perching itself atop jon’s right shoulder.  “  snow! snow!  ”  is squawks, and from his cloak pocket, jon feeds it a kernel of corn.  “  bowen marsh, our lord steward, will show you lot to your quarters. you’ll be sayin’ your vows soon enough, an’ we have both a sept an’ a godswood t’ do so at. now, as you can see, castle black has run across some... problems, as o’ late, thanks t’ the wildlin’s beyond the wall. it’s thanks t’ his grace, stannis baratheon, that we weren’t overrun. he an’ his men’ll be stayin’ here for awhile, so do try t’ get along with ‘em, even if ya aren’t in support o’ him bein’ king. remember—-the night’s watch does not meddle in politics, so please do set aside any ill feelings you may have towards him.  ”

            still, jon feels that same set of eyes upon him; the boy hasn’t taken them off of him since he’d arrived. the gaze is somehow familiar, yet jon cannot place it... he clears his throat.  “  i’ve matters to attend to. make yourself comfortable.  ”
