Harvey is no nonsense, short tempered, so short tempered oh my god… and he’s stuck with Jimmy being a shit, so he is so constantly stressed out and a lot of nights are spent with me calming him down when he’s about to lose it in my room of the hotel, or me going to his. Sitting him down on the bed, rubbing his shoulders or giving him a massage. Just doing whatever he needs to cheer up and relax, pouring him a drink, helping out with small tasks and letting him sink back. Along with the usual arm around the waist, hugs, kisses, fixing up his clothes and straightening him up, gift giving.
Don’t get me wrong as if he doesn’t do the same for me. Harvey’s an old man though and he’s grown out of the young, spontaneous grand gestures a long time ago. They’re just the more meaningful, everyday gestures to show we care.
