Working on some haptic memory skills (ish) with the kiddos today 👩🏻🏫 when I was younger I kind of just “got” music. I found it really easy to make the connections between letter names, notes on a staff, keys on a piano, fingers that play said keys and pitches that I heard. But actually teaching other kids is helping me realise why I got it, AND pushing me to think of other/better ways I can make translations from one medium to another. Helping the kiddos make their own connections And helping me make new ones in turn.
