To Kara and Lena, to the women who taught me so much about ... myself. 

There are not enough words here to write how much they have affected my life, thanks to them I got out of my own prison. 

For over 10 years I was lonely, I felt I didn't understand myself, even though everything was lying in front of my eyes. 

In April 2020 I discovered this fandom! I was already watching this series when it aired and I did not was in social media back then. 

After the fifth season came up and Melissa's story was revealed, I watched all the seasons again, and only then was I exposed to this wonderful fandom.  

They opened up my creativity and my imagination...I started to write and edit videos, things I never did before in my life. 

So Kara, I learned from you that loving human beings is important, I learned that even when there is no hope we are our own hope. 

I have learned that sometimes I will feel helpless and weak and that does not mean I have to break all conventions because of it. 

I learned that as a woman I have a special ability to feel vulnerability, it's a special ability because only then I can get up and recover time after time. 

And I learned that Kara loves Lena.  

 So Lena, I learned from her that money and power don't make you happy.  

I learned to push yourself a lot to be successful in life, (need to work on it.) 

I have learned to keep people away from me who aren't doing me any good. 

I learned that I should add more friendships to my life circles even though I am very scared of it. 

I learned that no matter what your genes are or where you grew up, because we are "not defined by our family and our past But in who we choose to be." (Quote from Katie who was asked how Lena came out so well despite what she went through with her family).

And I learned that Lena loves Kara.  

to our Fandom, I learned that you can learn so much from what people write, I surely learned and still learning through this fics I read. 

our Fandom is so funny, I learned to think like you guys and it's opened my mind.
