Pumpkin patches - perfect for getting the best fall pictures; worst for the wallet 🎃💸😬 Is it just me, or is any excursion with the family starting to cost more than an arm-and-a-leg? I feel like it costs the whole body and then some. 🤪 We're still deciding whether or not to skip the pumpkin patch this year (and not just because we want to social distance). Every year we go it costs over $100 for a day at the farm. While there are usually lots of things for the kids to do (a play area, farm animals and hay rides), most of them are closed and prices are on the rise. We're trying to evaluate whether the benefits outweigh the cost. Even writing about it makes me feel horrible, but I'm trying to decide whether it's better to save that money for the kids to spend on our next vacay, or just take them now to at least pick a pumpkin. What are some ways you've been having fun this fall without breaking the bank? @carryonwithkids #familylife #happykids #happybabby #familyadventures #familyfirst #familybudget #familyfuntime #parentinglife #parenting #october #pumpkin #pumpkinpatch #halloween #happyhalloween #travelmoments #travelfamily #adventurefamily #momgoals #momlife #momliferocks #kidsofinstagram #kidsrule #carryonwithkids https://www.instagram.com/p/CF7f2EfFaW4/?igshid=1apnt524rc6b0
