“Oppa.” She speaks in that tone that says she’s got a plan, something tucked up her sleeve like a hidden blade – and maybe she has one of those, too, but that’s not the operative point here. The dull roar of bargoers’ chatter rises around them as she stretches closer to Hansol, arms trailing gracefully onto the counter in front of him, fingers walking cat-like down the surface to draw her body closer to him.
A combination of mischief and malice glints in her steel eyes as Yeji grins upward at the male as though she could bare fangs this way, a smile laced with Cheshire intentions as she doesn’t truly wait for his acknowledgement. “I have an idea.” Two large and loud men have been cutting up behind them for a while now, brazenly waving their masculinity around; she’s thrown them a few dark glances, but Hansol (sweet as he is) has laughed it off, though her plan is only half to give them what-for and more so to wring an advantage for herself and her friend.
“What are you planning?” Hansol asks with a more innocent grin, placing his chin in his hand to listen; the girl giggles, now close enough that she needn’t do more than whisper for him to hear.
“Just a fun way to make a few bucks – what do ya’ think?” she hums, barely audible, slim fingers playing around her drink. “I’m gonna bet those two assholes that I can outdrink them. Pretty sure I can, but just to be sure – how about we contract on it?”
Hansol’s eyes flash with amusement and he tilts his head; he’s plenty sharp enough to catch on. “So you’re saying that you agree not to get drunk – regardless of what you actually drink – until I say that you can?” He extends his hand – his wording is amusing, but it’s important that he’s precise with it, she gets that.
“Yep.” Yeji takes his hand and gives it a firm shake; the contract is sealed, and this is going to be hilarious.
“I think I should have clarified that you couldn’t punch anyone, either.”
She laughs, carefree, and casts Hansol another grin. “But it’s a win for us, right? And that guy asked for it. He was totally going to take a swing at me otherwise, so, I mean.”
The mutant taps his foot and flashes her a smile, tilts his head cutely -- the realization that he’s up to something, too, hits her a second too late. “Well, now that you’re done here, I guess you can get drunk again, huh?”
The huntress stumbles in her steps out of the bar, falling with an uncharacteristic lack of grace into Hansol’s side.
“No faaaair,” she whines, overwhelmed by the sudden shift in her perceptions; her claws dig into the other’s shirt for stability, but he only lets out a melodic laugh that she finds herself mirroring in no time at all.
