As written earlier Finnoo is a new major development target and area in Espoo. It is driven by Metro. Construction and creating a new and large city district has raised a lot of conflicting views and objections. One reason has been the nature values and close by Internationally Important Bird and Biodiversity Area. Now the Supreme administrative Court (KHO) has rejected objections to the proposed master city plan and it means that the plan is valid and legal. It also means that the construction will start. In the phase streets and infrastructure will be constructed. Among the first are Finnoonsilta (the 5 first pictures) and Djupsundsbäcken area (the 4 last pictures).

As written earlier Finnoo will be a new city centre in Espoo. It will bring a major change in the present Suomenoja area. The construction will start around Kaitaantie and Djupsundsbäcken (a small brook), in which area the city plan is now legal. The belonged sometimes ago to two manors: Bondas and Hannus. It is still called Hannus Field. About year ago some land was removed and the area is now full of scentless may weed. Earlier the riverbed of the Djupsundsbäcken Brook was refurbished.

The year 2016 and Länsimetro in Espoo, part 4– Kaitaa and Hannus:  The construction of the Kaitaa station was started in Iivisniemi. In Hannus, where there were earlier allotment places for small farming, was first started the piling of blasted stone and later crushing. Also the maintenance elevator shaft construction was started.
