"Don’t call me."Â
"Fine, I won’t. Consider me gone, out of your damn life just like you always wanted." Chace bit out the words, receding backwards with angry eyes focused on the blonde he’d come to care for, to love. The pain inside his chest was hard to bear as he slammed open the front door, and entered the chilly parking lot.Â
 ”You’re a problem.”
He turned his heavy head in her direction, his eyes cast down, eyebrows knitting together. “I’m sorry, Cal.” Chace knew he had problems, it was a given with his piece of shit life, always dragging him down. He just never expected Cali to come to him upfront, telling him that he’s a problem. It fucking hurt to hear, that much was true. “You should go,” he whispered, swallowing a lump in his throat. “Just get out of here.”
"I don’t know, but I probably had sex with him."
Clenched jaw and hands balling into fists, Chace bit down on his tongue. A joke, he assumed, though it made him want to kill the clean-cut asshole talking to Mr. Letterman ten feet away, all white smiles and tight polo shirts. “Funny.” He turned to the blonde, flashing a sarcastic smile before wrapping an arm around her waist.
