hannah was definitely taken aback seeing daxton, not sure why the nurse would’ve called them. in hindsight, she couldn’t recall ever changing her emergency details but she’d never had a reason to because she didn’t anticipate ever ending up in a situation like this. “i decided to miss a step while walking down stairs — thought my legs were longer than they are and i took a bit of a tumble.” a bit being an understatement, given she’d ended up here. it was quite embarrassing really but it could’ve been worse. “it’s fine. i don’t know why they called. i’m just maybe concussed and waiting for them to wrap my leg up.”

"if you don't quiet down, everyone out there will know what we're doing," hannah murmurs against their mouth. it doesn't much sound like she's complaining when she pushes her body more into theirs, hips rutting forward in an eager gesture. "maybe i want them to know..."

"you can’t keep getting your feathers all ruffled when anyone else gives me attention."

"it's not like that — i'm not here to magically fix what i broke. i'm here because it's the truth and i thought you deserved to know. i was confused, i thought i knew what i wanted. i made a mistake, silver. is that a crime?"

“uh-huh.” hannah didn’t even attempt to sound amused; she didn’t quite have the energy nor the patience at the moment. she was already feeling quite disgruntled from her trip and now seeing sunny, it was fair to say she felt like a lot of things were happening at once. “you are? shit, i didn’t even think about changing that,” she mused, mostly to herself. she hadn’t had much reason to go out of her way to change a form, not imagining she’d end up here. “missed the first step as i was heading down some stairs and then decided to roll down the rest of them.”

"no?" hannah states it as if it should be obvious — which, in her opinion, it is. she wouldn't fake surprise at henry showing up if she'd known he was coming. unless it was sarcastically but that was reserved for when they had a more pleasant relation to one another. "oh..." the realisation dawns on her and makes her frown. "i didn't realise they'd call someone. i only blacked out for like — five seconds max. i didn't think it would've been a big deal." she huffs out a breath before pulling herself up in the bed a little more, watching him with interest. "why did you come...?"

"you’re the best thing that ever happened to me, and i’m scared of losing you. i'm really good at fucking things up."

"oh..." shit. hannah does her best to refrain from letting her expression change, trying to keep it neutral so he doesn't see right through her. "that's so... unusual! perhaps a venue with a similar name? or, you know how some places have multiple locations. an easy mistake, i'm sure. did you rearrange?"
