Heroes are not meant to survive || Kyungsoo & Thomas
Connected as siblings, secretly magical and part of the underground. Kyungsoo poses as a respectable member of the government and Thomas is wanted for affiliation with the supporters of magic. In truth they both are halfblood angels that try to undermine the church of steel. When Thomas is caught by the police Kyungsoo has to chose if he gives up his cover or if he saves his brother. And when the sky starts to change color both their wings start to show. [Thomas dies, Kyungsoo lives]
Thomas had no idea what to expect when he let himself be connected to the machine. He had signed up for the mission because he figured that he might be able to help; when he was faced with connecting to some kind of memories he had been hesitant. What was this going to be? Was he going to experience what it was to die? What is was to feel like the world was ending? The witch had considered pulling out; letting someone else do it.Â
Yet he was faced with a familiar face of someone he trusted and accepted the mission in the end. Whether that was a good choice, was to be seen.Â
That damn church of steel. Thomas was cursing in the back of his head as he felt the chains on his wrists while they were dragging him along. He was resisting with every step, with every breathe he took he resisted them. The bruises on his back were proof of just that, yet he wouldn’t back down. Not when they had him in chains and resisting was the only protest and freedom he had left. To be an outcast just because he was not afraid to embrace his heritage was ridiculous.
He could not help what and who he was and he would not let those bastards tell him magic was wrong; not when it was oh so good. “You will never stop us-” He spat at one of his captors “Magic will win and you will all have to admit you were wrong, so wrong.” He received another hit to the cheek, the taste of metal filled his mouth and he spit. The marble colored crimson. Yet the pain was nothing compared to what he faced. He would be locked up most likely; experimented on probably.Â
As he looked up his eyes met the one person he didn’t want to see right now, brother. Averting his gaze he hoped the older male had not recognized him and that he would, if he did recognize him, ignore him. That would be better for both of them.Â
