Located in the #HangrangValley of #KinnaurDistrict, #Nako is one of the last villages of #Kinnaur before #Spiti. The famous #NakoLake that sits at the border of the village is formed by the slopes of #ReoPurgyal, the highest mountain of #HimachalPradesh at 6,816 meters above sea level. Flanked by willow and poplar trees on its border, the Nako Lake becomes a common ice-skating rink for the villagers since the entire surface gets frozen in the winters.
