When I was sick a few days ago, I managed to complete this painting. It started just as a sketch and excuse to draw Nicolas, but then the idea of coloring it and practicing a little bit with tones and values took the head of me.

I like to think he just looks up from the book and sees Kate on the beach. Probably it was a vision for him 🤭.

I must say that I am quite happy with the final result. In the meantime, I'm working on a little project that will take a lot to finish, but I'm looking forward to showing it to you all. ❤️
