“God, we truly suck.” maya's on a horse

In a surprise trip down to Pandora, Jack brought his prized horse. Yes, that prized horse. Butt Stallion. And, while riding around feeling like a kid in a candy store that they owned (while happily shooting down stray bandits and some of the local wildlife), he happened upon one of those pesky fucking Vault Hunters. That siren chick with the blue hair, d’you think she did that because of her siren markings? God, he’d belittle her for hours if she did, he’d have to interrogate/torture the shit out of her to figure that out though.
One thing led to another, a few very powerful guns were pulled out of holsters and pockets, some intense siren power violence threatening, and the two were on the back of Butt Stallion, riding across the wasteland that was Pandora. “Listen, cotton candy head, I don’t know what planet you’re living on but, if you think that riding on a horse made out of literal diamonds isn’t fucking cool, then… kid? I’m gonna have to ask you to exit stage right of the Butt Stallion.”

Jack pushed off one of the ears of his headphones- that were blasting some trashy Hyperion-issued, Hyperion-made music in his ears while he did some basic coding, mind you- when he thought he heard his daughter yelling from her room. A pause. Silence. He moved his hand up to nudge the headphone back on when she did it again, meaning that, yes, he wasn’t going crazy yet. “I’m comin’, Angel! Hold your horses on the yellin’, pumpkin.” He shut his laptop and placed on the couch, getting up and walking over to her room.
And then he saw it.
Oh boy. She had out the little yellow table and the tea set. How did she do this without him hearing it? When did she get the leftover cake from the fridge? Y’know, sometimes it was better not to ask, and to roll with it. Step one of parenting, roll with the punches. He went and sat down at the table, already ready to go with the tea party. “What kind is it this time, kiddo? Didja make me my favorite? Or is it… oooooolong?” His age-old nemesis, imaginary oolong tea.
