(Enya age 6/Darius) This strange new edition to The Immortal Bastion, the child who started as a magic battery for a cruel inventor's plan to factory farm mages for their essence. Who was only named by the Grand General at first to have something on her gravestone if she never awoke. She survived, her magic is still within her, she survived six years of torture and dehumanisation from infancy... But there were still cracks to be mended.
She seemed to respond to the hand with fear and distress. Even touching his armour lightly would cause her to panic. But when she wondered into the Hand's chambers, seemingly lost and in a daze again, he was not in his armour, he was resting with heavy wounds bandaged. When she turned and saw his discarded weapons and armour, broken and bloodstained, that's when she shrieked, and... Ran to Darius. Clung to the large man, trembling like a leaf, mumbling something about coffins, about him being trapped and hurt. It all made sense. His armour, such a metallic behemoth to a small girl, must've seemed like yet another device like her own. That's all it would be to her, that's all it could be to her, which made her hold him tighter.
//This is so sweet, I couldn't delete it. I removed Darius from my muse list, but this stays because it's just... it's very gentle and soft and I haven't got it in me to deprive other folks of it. <3
