If anyone is interested in how I create my stained glass pieces, I thought I'd do some posts on it!
Part 3: Foiling complete, time to solder! I start by tacking all the main spots where pieces join to keep the piece together. Then I work on all the lines and getting a rounded solder look everywhere. Most stained glass is made with a solder that contains lead. I prefer to use lead-free solder which is harder to control but it makes me feel better not having to worry about lead in my pieces. Some pieces have a copper border and others don't. At the end I add any loops for hanging or decoration bits.
