I like this picture because its black and white, and I also love the background as it adds texture to the picture. This is a picture of me while I was making prints from my hand-prints. This is where I got the idea from John Coplans to not use the face as our self portrait. Instead I love the idea of having our hands as our self portrait as it tells more of our story. 

This is a picture of my hands just after I made prints from my hand-prints. I love this picture due to the background/ the wall, it has mine and my two sisters names on the brick wall in our kitchen. This was created by my mam and dad and is a way which they mapped and recorded our height as we got older, another form of mapping.
