Just posting this in response since you seemed to have made this crazed reddit rant in response to my blogger post about Bethesda trolling female fans.

First, you are not a "girl." You are a fanboy who couldn't handle seeing Bethesda criticized and also couldn't handle hearing that male gamers got fan service with nice drama-free romances like Piper, Cait, and Curie.

For whatever reason, my stating the truth sent you off in a frothng rage, and now you're trying to invalidate everything I said by pretending to be a woman so I will believe you.

Except you're not a woman and everything I said was true: developers still enjoy trolling the SHIT out of female fans and male-gay fans (and possibly the straight male gamers who play females) or why is it that EVERY male character created to be romanced by someone who's not straight and male can die (Hancock, Gage), can't shut up about their ex (MacCready), can be supremely annoying (Preston), or have some other tragic end (Danse)?

It's because straight male gamers are always given happy romances with the fear that they will throw tantrums and stop buying the frightened developer's games. But because there are a smaller number of women and gay men -- and because a lot of developers are sexist, racist, and homophobic -- they take a sort of perverse glee in fucking with minorities. Bioware does the same shit to women with the fucked up romances and has been doing it since Baldur's Gate.

As a woman who's been playing games forever, I'm fucking SICK of this shit, and I'll complain about it all I want, and there's nothing you can do about it. So stop throwing a tantrum, stop reading my blogs, and go on with your life.

Finally, Hancock's death is not a "bug." Either that, or it's a bug Bethesda just didn't care enough to fix -- or why did they make Marcy unessential to please angry gamers but never fixed Hancock's unessential flag?

Yes, it's true that all the companions have death quotes because they were originally able to die. Bethesda even talks about changing their minds because gamers reloading to save a dead friend ruins the flow of the game. But Cait, Piper, and Curie do NOT have a known death bug and can NOT die without console cheats and mods. Your frantic lies and your sad attempt to disprove my points in defense of your precious Bethesda is pathetic. Why do you care so MUCH what I think of Bethesda?

As I said, Hancock's death is not a bug. It ONLY happens in two instances:

1) People who have finished his romance reportedly see him slump over and die randomly while OUT of combat.

2) Hancock can die during Rocket's Red Glare on the Brotherhood of Steel ship because talking to Maxson takes him out of your party and removes his essential flag.

The second one IS a bug that was never fixed and can happen to any follower. The first one is NOT a bug and happens ON PURPOSE because Hancock is suicidal and full of such self-loathing that he doesn't believe he deserves to be happy and will attempt suicide after completing your romance.

I'm not going to fall for someone's lies when I've played the fucking game myself and have seen this shit firsthand. Also, nice touch with the rants about suicide. Pretending to look all concerned for suicidal people in a pseudo rant about suicide in order to trick me into thinking I'm wrong is a new low.

You don't care about suicidal people and these discussions about Hancock don't have shit to do with suicide in real life.

You care that someone pointed out how badly minorities are treated by game developers. Because for some insane reason, you can't handle seeing a game developer criticized by someone who doesn't have a white penis.

I thought your precious feelings were hurt because I had the gall to point out that America has only ever functioned to benefit white men?

I thought your feelings were hurt because I didn't appreciate being whitesplained about American history?

I thought your feelings were hurt because I made a few jokes about your sacred Founding Fathers?

My blog never has and never will tip-toe around White Fragility. I talk about history, oppression, and racism a lot, and if you can't handle it because you somehow think it's demonizing white people and the Founding Fathers, then gtfo this blog, leave me blocked, and don't come to my Blogspot blogs.

After getting pissed about Negareddit, I did some more lurking, and it's come to my attention that frail white people butting into conversations to scold black people for making "generalizations" is a fairly common occurrence on Nega.

So I was wrong. Angry white men aren’t taking over the sub.

I feel dumb for being so annoyed by it. I guess I'm just tired of the toxic, racist internet, and every summer I get stuck online all day because it's too hot to go outside (the heat can actually kill you here and almost did kill me one year).

It was nice finding this comment that neatly explains why black people make jokes about white people.

It's not "racism." I've never met a black person yet who made jokes about white people because they sincerely hated them. It was rather because they were tired of everyday racism and tired of being treated like crap, so they made jokes about the people who treat them like crap.

When white people are making jokes, they are usually being racist, while black people make jokes to deal with racism.

That's the difference.

I wish I could explain that to all the frail white Hancock fans who flipped their shit when I joked light-heartedly about the Founding Fathers and then proceeded to lecture me on the Constitution . . . but they've all blocked me and shut me out of the fandom, and I'd rather carve my own eyes out with spoons than ever talk to one of them ever again.

White people should understand the context that comes with white jokes and that such jokes are just coming from people who are exhausted by racism.

Bioware Fandom is smarter, but the fans are bigger assholes.

Bethesda Fandom is dumber, but the fans aren't as mean.

That's been my experience so far. I wish I'd never come to tumblr, to be honest. I'm tired of people misunderstanding every little thing I say and blocking me like crybabies.

After learning that Fahrenheit was supposed to be Hancock's daughter, I deeply regret writing those fan fictions where I made them out to be lovers.

I hope someone does a dialogue overhaul of all the romances for Fallout 4.

Well, not *all* the romances. Just Hancock. Hancock is the only follower who stops making romantic comments after you complete his romance.

I mean, he makes the comments, sure, but you practically have to force it out of him by selecting the talk option or directly asking about the relationship.

By comparison, Cait will call you love just when you click on her. She'll tell you to be careful and call you beautiful . . . she never lets you forget that you're in a romance with her. Whereas Hancock goes on talking to you like a friend.

Hancock already has the voice files there, he just needs someone to modify his dialogue so that he calls you love when you open his inventory, etc. His friend dialogue needs to take a backseat and his romance dialogue needs to be used way more.
