Kidnapped || Hana / Shivonne

“Alright, listen to Mommy, Noel” Shivonne said, using her stern voice that she learned from some TV nanny, leaning around to look in the backseat where her son’s eyes were firmly fixed to the iPad, “You’re gonna leave that thing in the car, we’re going to the park, you’ll play and make friends, preferably ones that don’t fly, capeesh?” But Noel didn’t lift his eyes away from the device.
Rolling her eyes, Shivonne got out of the car and pushed the seat forward to lift her toddler out of his booster seat. Throwing the iPad into the back seat and slamming the door, she pushed his hair out of his eyes. “Look, when we were at home I could barely get you shut up and now suddenly, you don’t wanna talk. You wanna talk?” she asked softly, but he just gently shook his head.
She walked up to the park, Noel still sitting on her hip. She took a good look at the park. It was clean, the equipment looked sturdy, fairly new. Just like a regular kiddy playground. Except for the macabre giant spider jungle gym, which unnerved her.
Letting Noel run off the play, Shivonne took a seat on one of the benches. It wasn't particularly busy, but it was a nice sunny day, and there were a few kids from the daycare she kind of recognised. Maybe this is just want small town moms of supernatural kids did. Daycare, then to the park. Seemed pleasantly boring.
