After I sent that ask I went back and rewatched the last 2 episodes and what makes it worse is that he doesnβt even know how valued his teachings are and how loved he is by his students!
He doesnβt know about Frak asking Arin if he really thinks Ras is a better teacher than Lloyd and should rethink what being a ninja is if he does or how guilty Arin looks. We know Arin never blamed Lloyd or agreed with Ras that heβs a bad teacher but Lloyd doesnβt and there was that comment Arin said out of frustration at the end of season 2 about not learning spinjitzu from him which Lloyd seemed to latch onto, he sees himself as a failure and thinks heβs not qualified to tech Arin, unlike Ras. But Frak does! He respects Lloyd and is happier learning under him rather than Ras!
Plus we also know that Arin clearly adores Lloyd, the plush he kept and got attached to and him being included in his thoughts of his loved ones before throwing the bottle shows that he genuinely loves the guy and sees him as family! Plus the memory he used is Lloyd holding his hand out like heβs helping him up meaning he sees him as someone he can depend on. Which all makes Lloydβs views on himself due to his crippling self doubt and abandonment issues more heartbreaking :((( His students think the world of him!
