15. How often does your muse cry? Do they view it as weakness?

Heightened emotions, for Jin Sakai, becomes exceedingly uncomfortable, embarrassing, a sign of low emotional intelligence, a sign of weakness even. When the emotional center of his brain was created, just think of it as being encased in steel and lined with razor wire. Then, just in case one of those pesky emotions slipped through, his tear ducts were covered in impenetrable material. Because Jin Sakai gets so accustomed to being a fortress of strength that he often neglects or outright denies himself the innate need to sometimes just let it all out. 

While periodic release of these pent-up emotions may have a positive effect on his own health and general wellness as stress relief, Jin Sakai does find the act of crying as a sign of weakness, and he will strenuously try to hold back tears as much as possible. Knowing that emotions generally have a logical reason behind them; usually something happened that causing him to feel a certain way — whether he is immediately aware of it or not. Jin would attempt to find the cause; which could take ample amount of time and practice, but once he does, he will attempt to deal with his emotions by a long session of meditation, and taking nature walks. 

What’s stopping him from crying when he feels sadness? When he has experienced feelings of deep sadness, he always finds himself asking, “Is this an appropriate time for me to express that?” There is absolutely no way that Jin will be expressing his emotions in public, as the Ghost; it would be inappropriate and result in embarrassment for the former samurai. He would possibly acknowledge that there are times when it is not only okay but normal and healthy, but he would most likely suppress his emotions as much as he could, lest he lets them all out in private. 

He generally is not the type to dwell on their emotions, and will often bottle them up for a long time. He does not feel comfortable with crying or any overt expression of emotions in this way. He will often attempt to hold their sadness in for a long time, until he finally boils over. Jin Sakai will cry because he has gone far too long without allowing himself to pay attention to his own emotions, and finally he forces his way out through his tear ducts. 

▬▬ι═══════ﺤ 🔥 || Power can be total, yet - in spite of that, remain purely external as a threat. Satoshi experienced this in his long travels. He was just liable and vulnerable to die once again, and over and over again, lest such harbored power of his hellfire could be manifested as brute, naked force. He could only acknowledge and come to admission that his own hellfire is an elucidation from how his pristine ideology is implemented. But none when it comes to its effects on its opponents. The air remains overripe with the petrichor of post-rain splendor; he remains consistently surrounded by the saccharine perfume of the sakura scattering about in the steady zephyr. Satosho holds his hand up to the light that sieves through his fingers; pink and gold rushing and penetrating bone-deep. 

Here in the balmy, sugary afternoon, it is just him and the other female warrior alone in his limited, hollowed world. Bruised knees like soft bruised plums and sunstroke cheeks reconstructing as blush as the young, underdeveloped warrior continues still, overexerting himself beyond exhaustion. Beneath the summer citrus, the flaming chained kunai whips like striking serpents, depositing its venom through vicious fangs. 

After all, it was his father’s legacy, transferred in the Nether, deep in the fire and brimstone of everburning, unquenchable inferno. This is both his revelation and paralysis; shackling him in unbreakable mandibles as he loosens each and every chain. He wants to live on his own, without the greatest Shirai Ryu warrior - his deceased father - for he simply cannot relax.
