you sent me a headcanon saying aradia's job keeps her away for long periods of time but what exactly is her job?
I waited on answering this cuz I wanted to do a drawing for it but it doesn't seem like I'll have time what with my many obligations.
Basically my headcanon is - in an interpretation of the hs ending where the dream bubbles are not eradicated, just damaged - that the dream bubbles become ecosystems that require tending to.
Sometimes that literally means flying out to a small, unhealthy bubble and shepherding stray ghosts into more stable memories, sometimes it's using ones time powers to stabilize structurally important bubbles that are getting desynced, and sometimes it means explode-ing rowdy ghosts that complicate things. Maybe some tasks suit Aradia well while others are more difficult, but she feels pulled to handle them regardless.
Maybe in the absence of a big, satisfying death for the afterlife she feels obligated to at least keep it tidy - maybe there is a grey area between natural and unnatural decay where she doesn't know if she wants to step in, but regardless it sucks up a lot of her attention.
I picture it keeping her away for long swaths of time, since it is like THE most interesting thing to her.
