#hamster problem

Hello, I’m having a problem with my hamster Vlady. Vlady is almost a year old and she is an albino (with red eyes) Russian dwarf Hamster.  For a new mouths shes been having a problem with her left eye. It was shut and skunking in, so once a day i would get warm water and rub her eye clean from anything, and for a while it was doing really well. However today i saw that when i picked her i saw her left eye was shut almost completely. I was just able to see that her eye was almost all black but has a white swirl in it almost. So i did a little studying on the internet  after i calmed myself down, and found that a saline solution would help. But i also thought that i would make this post seeing if anyone new of anything else i could do.  I don't know if this could be related but I’m going to put this in with it. She also has a constipation problem. So when she is having that problem i always give her half a cherry (no pit) with just a really tiny bit of olive oil, and i do that for a week or till i see there no more problems. I ask anyone that has had this problem and has any advice for me to please contact me. (The vet is not a solution i can go into because the only small animals doctor near me only does guinea pigs, rabbits, snakes and birds.)

 Bedding- CareFresh (change every two weeks)

Toys- Always has wood chews and wheel
