From there the brightness of the liquid color can be adjusted to your preference. Our process for Chrome Shadow refinishing is a long process with a lot of labor involved. โขAfter removing any tires, we check every wheel for cracks, bends or other visible damage. Anything concerning is reported to the client before we proceed. โขWe then strip all of the existing finish off of the rim. โขAny damage is repaired โขThe wheels are pretreated for coating in a phosphate wash. โข Hub area is protected from overspray โขThe coating stages consist of a base coat, a color coat and a clear top coat. Each coat is cured individually. โขAny tires are installed & Roadforce balanced. We will dispose of any old tires per the client's request. โขThe entire process from start to finish takes several days.
