Pushing your jaw out a little bit creates more space for you to move between your different registers. That is good. Moving your jaw back and forth and from side to side a lot is a cheap trick for vocal runs. That is not good.

Moving your jaw like that is a trick that allows you to kinda do vocal runs if you can't actually do vocal runs. It's bad, lazy technique, basically. Like, just practice and learn how to actually do vocal runs. Especially if you're a professional singer. This shit looks and sounds weird af.

it bothers me too omfg. vibrato is natural and it comes from good technique and her jaw movement proves that she's not good enough to actually vibrato. its really frustrating so watch her sing and i dont get why she tries so hard to force it.
