Emyr was a good student. Sometimes. So of course, the first thing he did when he arrived was take a tour of the school. The first place he went would, obviously, be the astronomy room. He skipped into the room, and took a few moments when he found it empty.

He stood at the door, took a few steps in, and then backed up. This would have all been normal, had he not bumped into something. He quickly backed up into the room, closed his eyes, and held a jar of stars out towards whatever it was he had bumped into as if it would help. He yelled the first thing that entered his teenage mind as loud as he could.

   “Subaru! Subaru!” Shun calls out as he reaches the school’s main courtyard. It was lunch time and Shun had let his dog out to do his business a couple minutes ago but now he has no idea where he is. “Subaru! Subaru where are you?” he calls out again rather loudly. He really hoped he wasn’t lost in this big campus. He didn’t have much time to find him before his next class. “Subaru! Subaru!” he continues shout across the courtyard.

“…the last thing I would want is for anyone to develop emotional attachments to me.”

After all, it would hurt less.

“Since when was complimenting one’s features considered ‘flirting’?”

    Dear Fenriart Solace,

Welcome to Hiraeth Academy. Due to your great accomplishments in your own world, we have taken the liberty of summoning you here to Hiraeth in hopes that you will aid us in shaping the minds of those less experienced with their special abilities. We ask that you please report to the Headmistress’s office after reading this letter, so that you can receive a full briefing of what is expected of you. We are certain that your prowess with Astronomy will benefit those attending our academy. You will become their instructor, a guiding hand that will lead them down what we hope will be the right path.

You will be housed in our specialized staff housing, in room B-102, located in a building separate from the school, tucked away on the western side of campus. After you have seen to visiting the Headmistress, you are welcome to visit there any time to replenish your energy and have a break from teaching. You will be asked to introduce yourself to the students at the next meal, so please come prepared.
