         Kelly took a deep inhale as her eyes hovered over the body slowly losing the last of it’s life. She tried to remain calm, she had seen a woman--demon vanish into flames with just a touch from Castiel and angels be murdered right before her eyes by that same demon. So the accidental murder of this man by her son should not have shaken her so much. However, she was stuck there not able to let the intake of breath be expelled from her body.

         She would keep telling herself that this power her son could be for good but then flashes of the warnings of Lucifer would come to her mind and she worried for Jack, worried of where he would turn to find comfort in the path to control his power.

“No it’s a promise.”

         Joaquin perused the limited variety of hot dog combos on the small shop’s sign. Did he want to splurge on a nice chili dog or just get the usual plain dog so that he could by another one for tomorrow’s dinner. Money was hard to come by with just making minimum wage and trying to pay for rent and food at the same time. He got a bit of cash from FP before left but not much that kept him going for months on end. So he was using his work money sparingly. 

         A shadow covered the sun that was low but still hitting him in the eye from his peripheral. He glanced over to see a boy around his age that was looking at the dogs rolling in the machine. He seemed confused by it or was he just hungry? “ Can I get two plain dogs? ” Joaquin asked the man at the stand grabbing his money out of his pocket and placing it on the stand’s counter before taking the two dogs and turning to the boy next to him.
