My birthday is next week...thought I’d draw a little something for it <3

Super messy but I wasn’t trying to be neat... lol..

I’m a huge Harry Potter fan to be honest. During the height of it’s popularity I started to kind of get burnt out on it and ended up not finishing books 6 and 7 and right now, when I am unable to read them, I really want to finish them.. Honestly the Patronus test on Pottermore dragged me back in to this world and I’m happy to be back.

My super lovey boyfriends. I love them with all of my heart and are some of my most favorite original characters.

Funny story...

So I firmly believe that as you write for a character, they evolve and change without your doing. I honestly believe this and have experienced it with all of my characters. 

The black hair character above is Silver, the other is Joanus. From the get-go, Joanus had unrequitted feelings for Silver who was in a relationship with a female character. But this relationship was absolutely dreadful. No matter how hard I tried to make it work I just never was happy with any outcome. It made me want to give up the story entirely. If I couldn’t even like the main couple how was I supposed to get through an entire story with them being together while I cringed the whole time? 

And I soon saw the light..

Listening to overly sappy romantic Backstreet Boys love songs made me think of Joanus and his love for Silver. I kept playing scenes over and over in my head, imagining Silver and Joanus. And then it hit me like a ton of bricks..

The reason I hated my storie’s main couple is because I had the wrong couple.

Silver and Joanus were the absolute perfect match and I have never been happier. Thank the heavens that I had this realization because it saved a story I truly hold dear to my heart.
