I had! A thought! Has Aurelio already met any of the girls? Any pre-existing affiliations? I've read that eastern green mambas primarily prey on birds and they're eggs,,,, so I was wondering how that might affect kestrel siren in any way,,,👀 (idk if that would translate to monster behaviour at all but I found that interesting)
they have, actually! kinda. relio is pretty reclusive, it’s been a very long time since they’ve seen/met someone other than the monsters who live in the forest.
they know bee and rus, as well as angel & vani (who basically come as a pair at this point), and have seen fell, ruby, & ri around but not interacted with them.
their primary source of food in the au is indeed birds & other such animals they come across in their neck of the woods, and if they were to come across siren (which they probably would, eventually, by virtue of knowing rus) it’s likely that there might be some tension there! but siren is one of the most well-known and most widely feared of the monsters in this au for what she’s capable of, and even if lio’s an idiot, they aren’t stupid. they know to stay clear of si when it comes down to it, so a neutral/tentatively mutually respected relationship would be what happens there :D

yeah!!!! her head glows kinda like a jack-o-lantern whenever she takes it off, and i was also reading up about them & read on one site that a dullahan’s head tends to have a creepy, wide grin practically splitting their face.

rather than the aquatic version of a siren, she’s a bird siren! like the depictions you’d find in the ancient greek mythos, with my own personal interpretations thrown in!
